For mountain and pure air lovers, this trip take us to the highest point of the Andes Mountain Chain. We leave Buenos Aires in very comfortable bed-buses, where we will spend the first night while crossing the Pampas and the whole country from East to West. Once in Mendoza (the land of sun and wine), we'll spend one whole day exploring the Andes Mountain Chain up to the foot of the Cerro Aconcagua (the highest peak of the Western world). The following day we'll visit Mendoza 's famous wineries, tasting their exquisite wines.

Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Retiro bus terminal in very comfortable semi-cama bus, with breakfast and dinner, traveling across the Argentinean Pampas.

Day 2: Reception at Mendoza bus station and transfer to the hostel. You will be staying in a friendly youth hostel, in a four bedded room with private bathroom.

Day 3: Full- day excursion to the Cordillera de Los Andes . This is an amazing excursion in which you see the Aconcagua (the highest peak in Western World), Puente Del Inca, Uspallata, etc. This excursion leaves at 7:30 a.m. from the hostel.

Day 4: Half-day tour to the bodegas (the famous Argentinean wine cellars). In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the bus station. Bus back to Buenos Aires (cama bus with breakfast and dinner).

DAY 5: Arrival in Buenos Aires in the morning.

Excursions
Alta Montaña (Highlands)
Enjoy the fabulous circuit of the Andes, down the international road to Chile , crossing the Precordillera and the Cordillera Frontal and penetrating into the Cordillera del Límite. The route includes the precordilleran valley of Potrerillos , the Uspallata valley, and visits to the historic bridge of Picheuta , built during San Martín's campaign, and the towns of Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas, where the Cuevas, Vacas and Tupungato rivers converge and give birth to the Mendoza river. We'll also visit the Los Penitentes ski resort, the famous Puente del Inca and its thermal springs, the Horcones border control and the Las Cuevas border village.

Wineries
Visit big and small wineries in the Luján de Cuyo and Maipú departments, accompanied by personnel from those places, and get into the spirit of a historical activity which is typical of Mendoza . In this trip you will also visit the Church of la Carrodilla , where you'll find the Virgin of Carrodilla, Patron Saint of the Vineyards.
