| + THE FAVOURITES |

|
The most favored candidates to win the trophy are Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
Argentina is favored because of its great team, the support of its home fans and because Lionel Messi, the best player in the world (Golden Ball in 2011 and 2010) is on its team. He faces the challenge of winning his first important title at the selection level.
Brazil also has a star-studded team. Among its players is the promising young Neymar who was brilliant in the last South American sub 20 tournament. Brazil is the winner of the last two America Cup events (2004 and 2007).
Uruguay is known for its warrior attitude and the goal making capacity of its forwards; among them is Diego Forlán, chosen as the best player of the last World Cup. Uruguay and Argentina share the glory of the countries that have won the most America Cups. Both Argentina and Uruguay have fourteen titles, followed by Brazil with eight. |

| + ARGENTINA 2011 |

|
Argentina is a “country dedicated to soccer”. Soccer is breathed, argued about and played with great passion. After its sad showing in the last World Cup, this is the opportunity for its national team to end the drought of fifteen years without a championship.
Argentina is beautiful: a country with great contrasts between its north and south and with an infrastructure capable of welcoming and hosting tourists from all over the world.
During the games, as always, the best and most economical lodging options are the Hostels. Fortunately, they offer the good bargains that visitors search for. The following list shows the hostels available. Early booking is recommended due to the huge attraction of the tournament. Make your reservations early! |

| + GREAT STARS |

|
In this tournament we will see the great soccer stars that shine at the highest international levels:
- Lionel Messi for Argentina
- Neymar for Brazil
- Diego Forlán for Uruguay
- Radamel Falcao for Colombia
- Humberto Suazo for Chile
- Lucas Barrios for Paraguay
Argentina’s expectations are great as the country awaits the arrival of tourists from the above-mentioned countries. |

|
| + THE TOURNAMENT |

|
During the first phase, the twelve teams are divided into three groups:
- GROUP A: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia and Costa Rica
- GROUP B: Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay and Venezuela
- GROUP C: Chile, México, Perú and Uruguay
The first two teams of each group and the two best third place teams will go onto the quarterfinals. Four out of these eight will go onto the semifinals and only two will be left for the finals. |

|
| + THE FINAL MATCH |

|
The final playoff will be in Buenos Aires, in the River Plate Stadium known as the Monumental, where the Argentine Selection is housed. Many hope that on July 24th the two finalists will be Argentina and Brazil, the two teams that played each other in the last finals, both defeated by the tropical country. |
