Perito Moreno Glacier & Fitz Roy Mount 7 Days El Calafate & El Chalten
 In this great trip you will feel the vastness of Patagonia . A day tour allow us to explore the best of Patagonia. We'll visit the unique and amazing Perito Moreno Glacier, with its big ice falls. Then a 5 hour trip to the north will take you to the small village of El Chalten (ideal for trekking lovers / Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre).
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in El Calafate. Transfer to the hostel. You'll be staying in a hostel with the best travelers' atmosphere.
Day 2: Full-day excursion to the Moreno Glacier. In the evening, we recommend you to visit Laguna Nimes to watch the marvelous regional birds. Night in a hostel.
Day 3: Free day. There are several activities that can be done in El Calafate, like horseback riding, sailing in the lake to visit Upsalla Glacier or going on an excursion in a 4WD vehicle. Accommodation in a very nice hostel.
Day 4: In the morning you will take the bus to El Chalten (approx. 4 1/2 hours). In this route you will feel the vastness of Patagonia . Arrival in the village of El Chaltén . Accommodation in the best hostel in El Chaltén.
Day 5: This day is free for you to trek in the area. We suggest trekking to the base of the Fitz Roy Mt. This is an 8-hour route with an amazing view. Night in hostel.
Day 6: This day is free for you to trek in the area. We suggest Torre mount and the Torre Glacier. It is possible to do trekking on the Torre Glacier (this is the best option for trekking in a glacier in Patagonia . It is an unforgettable experience). This excursion can be arranged either in Buenos Aires or directly in Patagonia . Accommodation in a hostel.
Day 7: Free day. In the evening you take the bus back to El Calafate. Accommodation in the same hostel in El Calafate.

Excursions
FULL DAY TOUR TO PERITO MORENO GLACIER
Early morning departure along the route that goes round the southern arm of Argentino Lake , till we reach Los Glaciares National Park . Along a winding road and after skirting the Rico Arm, we'll get to the walkways and viewpoints of the Perito Moreno Glacier. On the afternoon, return to El Calafate. The Glacier's viewpoint is located 85 km from El Calafate. The continuous landslides and constant noise talk by themselves of the permanent movement of the Perito Moreno Glacier. It's area is of 195 sq. km., it has a front of 4 km . and a lake of 65 km . It's height is of 60- 80 m a.s.l. reaching peaks of 100 m . above lake level.

The entrance fee to the park is not included. Ar$ 30.- If you have student card you will have a discount.
