Known as Salta la Linda (the beauty Salta ). It is one the Argentinean cities that keep the Colonial ambient. Salta is located 1200 meters above see level, surrounded by peaks. In this ambient you can also observe gorges, valleys, high plains, Salt deposits and different landscapes with one the most varieties of colors.
Traveling to Salta and the surroundings areas is a trip to the past. Spanish and Indian cultures lived together centuries ago.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Departure in the evening from Retiro bus Station in a very comfortable Cama bus. The trip lasts 20 hours aprox.

DAY 2: Arrival in Salta in the morning. Reception and transfer to a Hostel. Free afternoon.

DAY 3: Full day excursion Back to the Clouds, following the route of the Train to The Clouds in a 4x4 Track, visiting to Purmamarca ( Jujuy ) before reaching Salta . Night in hostel.

DAY 4: Day free for optional activities. You can book excursions such as rafting in the Juramento river, trekking, etc. Night in hostel.

DAY 5: Transfer to the bus terminal to take the bus back to Buenos Aires . DAY 6: Arrival in Buenos Aires.

We travel via the way of the Train to the clouds and visit magnificent pre-inca ruins and small villages in the Puna. Then, we get into the amazing salt planes.
